Ball to launch can end printing technology for enhanced brand appeal
30 Apr 2018 --- Metal packaging giant, Ball Corporation, is set to unveil pioneering new printing technology capable of revitalizing end-of-can brand-appeal. Ball's proprietary Cameo End Printing enables brands to extend their unique designs over the top of aluminum cans for a competitive edge in shelf appeal.
Ball’s newest beverage can innovation aims to help customers put a colorful lid on their infinitely recyclable aluminum cans. Available for the first time, Ball's proprietary Cameo End Printing extends customer branding to the top of the can, making the top pop and adding appeal for consumers looking for their favorite beverages.

Brand visibility is an increasingly important marketing tool within the highly competitive fizzy drinks market. With drink cans often stacked vertically, the opportunity to showcase branding from top angle may prove to be highly effective in generating sales from busy, on-the-go consumers.
Cameo End Printing technology will be commercially available in early 2019.
Ball will debut Cameo End Printing next week at the Brewers Association Craft Brewers Conference and BrewExpo America.
