Barrier bottles

Monosorb™ PET barrier single-serve bottles for fruit juices and oxygen-sensitive drinks incorporate a new oxygen scavenger. The barrier is achieved by blending a modified version of BPs Amosorb® DFC additive into the PET resin immediately prior to molding, using a proprietary process.

Monosorb™ PET barrier single-serve bottles for fruit juices and oxygen-sensitive drinks incorporate a new oxygen scavenger. The barrier is achieved by blending a modified version of BPs Amosorb® DFC additive into the PET resin immediately prior to molding, using a proprietary process. The barrier can be metered to customize protection on an as-needed basis. For extremely oxygen-sensitive applications, the technology can be supplemented with coating technologies. The bottles can be recycled the same way as ordinary PET containers and can be reused for food-grade packaging.
