Introducing a new high performance film for chub packaging of ground beef, pork and other processed meats. The co. offers the package's film in both barrier and non-barrier versions for retail applications ranging in size from 2 oz to 2 lb. The barrier film is a 2.75-mil adhesive laminate consisting of linear low density polyethylene(LLDPE) and EVOH. The non-barrier structure is a 2.5 mil dual layer of LLDPE adhesive laminated. The co. will introduce a similar chub pack film designed for larger industrial applications (5 to 20lb. sizes) later this year. The films are available in white, clear or printed.
