Agr*TopWave LLC offers its Profiler Multilayer Gauge™ that permits evaluation of multilayer preforms and containers for presence and proper distribution of nylon-based barrier materials without cutting or destroying the product. Device takes as little as 15 sec to determine the presence, distribution, and thickness of barrier materials. The noncontact, automated measuring device can determine the presence of nylon-based barrier materials in PET preforms and containers using IR absorption technology.
