Bioactive Milk and Fruit Juice

Berglandmilch is using PET bottles for its creative new “FIDUS bioaktiv” and “Frisch vom Berghof” product lines. The new bottles will be equipped with a new closure design. Berglandmilch is Austria’s largest dairy processor with an annual milk intake of more than 950 Mio kg. FIDUS bioaktiv is a combination of skimmed milk and fruitjuice, rich in vitamins A, C, E and B12.

Berglandmilch is Austria’s largest dairy processor with an annual milk intake of more than 950 Mio kg. FIDUS bioaktiv is a combination of skimmed milk and fruitjuice, rich in vitamins A, C, E and B12. The product is being marketed as “active freshness from the fridge” and as alternative to traditional soft-drinks. It is available in apple and maracuja flavors. FIDUS was launched in 750ml PET bottles with closures and has immediately been well accepted by both the Austrian retailers and consumers. The innovation has given a real “kick” to the segment of liquid milk mix products and increased sales in 2002 by 20% over 2001.
