Aug 27 2010 --- Leading pre-cut lids manufacturer Chadwicks has grabbed the buffalo by the horns with its latest range of quality lids for Formula 1 World Champion-turned organic farmer, Jody Scheckter.
Chadwicks has produced 97.5mm 50 micron white PET lids with embossing, printed using six colours, full UV flexographic for Laverstoke Park Farm’s Buffalo Mozzarella.
The organic and biodynamic farm in Hampshire makes the cheese from fresh Buffalo milk and uses no preservatives, in order to make the best-tasting and healthiest Mozzarella possible.
The lids can be seen in selected Sainsbury’s outlets where the Buffalo Mozzarella is for sale as the first organic Buffalo Mozzarella to be produced in the United Kingdom.
Laverstoke Park Farm is owned by Jody Scheckter, winner of the 1979 Formula 1 World Championship, who travelled to Italy in order to learn how to make authentic Italian Buffalo Mozzarella. This expertise has led to his Mozzarella being regarded as one of the best in the country.
Vicki Slater, Sales Administrator at Chadwicks, said: “We are a market leader in producing pre-cut lids, and it was great to work with Laverstoke Park Farm, as our lids will keep the Buffalo Mozzarella fresh and tasting great.
“Chadwicks is a world leader in the manufacturer of heat seal pre-cut lids and has a great understanding of the dairy market, as well as providing unrivalled customer service to deliver a quality packaging solution that is durable, boosts shelf appeal and reflects the values of this organic farm.”
Jody Scheckter, owner of Laverstoke Park Farm, said: “We really enjoyed working with Chadwicks on the lids for one of the most unique products in our range. We are hugely proud of the quality of our Buffalo Mozzarella and the high quality packaging reflects this.”
Laverstoke Park Farm, based in Hampshire, sells a diverse range of its produce including Beef, Buffalo and Organic Ale. The farm is a multi-species fully EEC licensed state-of-the-art facility, which has been constructed with the welfare of the animals as a priority.
