Chinaplas Endorsed as "UFI Approved Event"
Since its inception in 1983, Chinaplas' show scale has been growing rapidly every edition, reaching an exhibition area of 92,000sqm in last edition held in Shanghai, April 2006.
06/10/06 The International Exhibition on Plastics and Rubber Industries (also known as "Chinaplas"), the largest plastics and rubber trade show in Asia, has been enlisted as the "UFI Approved Event" by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), a well-recognized representative body of the international trade fair sector. Currently, Chinaplas is the only plastics and rubber show in PR China to receive this recognition.
Since its inception in 1983, Chinaplas' show scale has been growing rapidly every edition, reaching an exhibition area of 92,000sqm in last edition held in Shanghai, April 2006. The coming edition, Chinaplas 2007, staged at Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre (GICEC), Pazhou, Guangzhou, PR China from May 21-24, 2007 will again break the record in terms of show scale. It is expected that pavilions from Austria, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, PR China and Taiwan Province, United Kingdom and USA together with over 1,500 renowned exhibitors worldwide will display their flagship products and technologies over an exhibition area of 100,000sqm.
"We are pleased that Chinaplas is the only plastics and rubber trade show in PR China to be honored with the label of "UFI Approved Event". This endorsement further demonstrated Chinaplas' proven track records in its international contents, professional exhibiting and visiting services as well as quality project management," said Ms Ada Leung, Senior Manager - Sales and Marketing of Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd, the organizer of Chinaplas.
"Not only are our exhibitors from worldwide, but our visitor profile also demonstrates an international mix. Last edition, around 60,000 trade visitors attended the show, of which near 16% came from over 100 countries and regions. Delegation groups from Egyptian Exporters Association, Malaysian Plastics Manufacturers Association (MPMA), Philippine Plastics Industry Association, Thai Plastic Industries Association, Vietnam Plastics Association, Vietnam Saigon Plastics Association, etc. were also organized to meet the exhibitors," Ms Leung continued.
To cope with the dynamic needs of exhibitors and visitors, the organizing team of Chinaplas always designs numerous brand new services or activities to facilitate business cooperation and enhance visiting experience, such as the set up of special theme zones, business matching services, factory visits, high-level industrial conferences, production of international visitor guide, on-site self-help kiosk service, virtual booths, etc.
