Aug 15 2011 --- By installing a new shrink wrapping machine, Clifton Dairies significantly increased its packing speed, leading to a more effective and efficient operation.
It was vital that the shrink wrapping machine installed, not only met the stringent hygiene levels required by the food manufacturing industry, but could also cope with the challenging production demands.
To meet both requirements, a YPS SS120 shrink wrapping machine was installed at Clifton Dairies.
This heavy duty, dairy stainless steel side feed shrink wrapper can wrap a variety of pack sizes and collations; the most popular being two litres in a 3x2 collation at a rate of up to 14 packs per minute. Requiring only a single lane infeed, the pack is collated by using two pushes to every jaw cycle.
