Clip-pak Packages Starting at 50 ml Now Resealable

5/18/2011 --- Poly-clip System, Frankfurt, introduces a clever, new packaging for viscous products: The clip-pak (tubular package with two clips) with threaded end pieces and optional nozzles or closure systems attached. The CBS Cap Bonding System opens up new market opportunities with the smallest package that can be dispensed manually and is resealable.

clip-pak‘s are tubular packages with a clip at each end. By using a CBS, these packaging units can now be dispensed manually and are also resealable. That means that viscous products, both from the food and non food sector, are packed cost-effectively and that the packaging has gained an additional "function". The CBS is excellently-suited for the smallest packages starting at 50 ml and with a diameter from 18 to 50 mm.
   
CBM_Anwendung

Together with the transfer-sealing/clipping-machine TSCA with hydraulic dosing pump HDP, the CBS forms a fully-automatic production line. With its modular design, the CBS bonds a threaded end cap onto the clip-pak and attaches a single component at each following work station. The attachments can be such as end caps, Euro hanger/pegboards caps or extrusion nozzles. For this, up to eight work stations are operated using an electrically-driven rotary disc. Oscillating bowl feeders guarantee that every single component is positioned vertically and then fixed in the collet, which offers continuous production. A central, movable display ensures reliable controlling of all processes. For data logging, remote maintenance and diagnoses, there is an Ethernet interface.

Non-food market
Viscous products - and above all, sealant and glue - are excellently-suited for packaging in the resealable clip-pak. The large DIY market is getting a new, cost-effective product, as the packages can be dispensed manually with no additional device required. Also, as a cost effective alternative to tubes, there is less waste when packaged as a clip-pak. Production of the small packages starts at a volume of 50 ml.

Food market
Whether for the catering sector or household use - the reclosable clip-pak is suitable for all viscous foods. For easy portioning, decoration and appealing presentation, they are the optimum packaging unit and also a cost-effective alternative - there is no limit to your imagination.

The CBS is easy to convert. By simply exchanging the collet, the machine can quickly be adapted to various product diameters and lengths. Corrosion-free materials and integrated safety covers guarantee safety and hygiene.
