CNN Money reports that the consumer soft drink giant is test marketing 250 ml (about 8.5 oz) aluminum contour bottles at night clubs and select events. Currently, the bottles come in red, silver and black for Coke, Diet Coke and Coke Zero.

A Coke spokesman told CNN that the success of the pilot program would be one factor that determined if Coke expanded the packaging scheme to the broader consumer base.

The spokesman did not say what other factors may influence that decision.
