Contain This! Solves Soggy Sandwich Dilemma With Perfect Sandwich Container Made With Eastman Tritan™ Copolyester

Aiming to solve the soggy sandwich dilemma, Contain This! introduces Perfect Sandwich — a reusable food storage solution made with Eastman Tritan™ copolyester that separates fresh ingredients from bread in chilled, watertight compartments — at the International Home & Housewares Show (IHHS) from March 6 to 8 in Chicago. Tritan is a new-generation copolyester that provides clarity, toughness and heat and chemical resistance to the Perfect Sandwich container. Tritan also is free of bisphenol A (BPA).

Unlike other sandwich storage containers available today, Contain This! Perfect Sandwich includes a versatile divider to keep wet ingredients, including tomatoes, lettuce and sandwich meat, apart from dry ingredients, such as bread, to ensure a fresh sandwich at meal time. The innovative container design also includes a removable PerfectCHILL® cooling device to keep perishable contents cool, tasting their best and below the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) recommended guidelines of 40 degrees Fahrenheit for up to five hours.

The dishwasher durability, stain and odor resistance of Tritan allows Contain This! to develop a product that is tough enough to withstand regular use, including daily trips to school or work in a backpack or briefcase, and frequent washing with dishwashing detergents. In addition, the clarity of Tritan creates a transparent cover so users can clearly see their lunch inside. Contain This! also valued the BPA-free attribute of Tritan.

The Contain This! Perfect Sandwich is available in a white and green color combination and will be sold at select retailers and online at the Contain This website in May 2011.
