Rexam Closures & Containers introduces its new proprietary Dispense-A-Seal™ liner with one or more orifice sizes for dispensing products. The orifice is sealed with a separate heat sealed pull-tab for consumer convenience. The Dispense-A-Seal™ liner has a pre-punched orifice with a pre-applied pull-tab constructed in the liner; the liner is then inserted into the closure by Rexam for subsequent customer application and induction sealing. Rexam’s Dispense-A-Seal™ liner provides excellent sealing, tamper indication and convenient dispensing that can replace orifice reducing and sifting fitments, and eliminate the operation required on filling lines to install these components. The Dispense-A-Seal™ liner utilizes standard induction sealing and capping equipment. Rexam’s Dispense-A-Seal™ liner can be used on HDPE or PET containers. The liner can be used in numerous stock or custom closures as part of the closures manufacturing system. For example, Dispense-A-Seal™ liner can be used in Rexam’s child resistant FG push & turn and SQL-LP series; it can also be used in Rexam’s continuous thread closures. Ideal applications for Rexam’s Dispense-A-Seal™ liner include baby oils, household chemicals, pool/spa chemicals or solvents.
