The DMX-I-4206 is the latest addition to the company's line of thermal transfer label printers. The 4 in. printer is made of a die-cast aluminum frame and includes features such as an easy-to-read front LCD display, color-coded computer cues, embossed media-loading diagrams, wide access to the printhead, and a collapsible ribbon hub for easy loading and unloading.
The DMX-I-4206 is the latest addition to the company's line of thermal transfer label printers. The 4 in. printer is made of a die-cast aluminum frame and includes features such as an easy-to-read front LCD display, color-coded computer cues, embossed media-loading diagrams, wide access to the printhead, and a collapsible ribbon hub for easy loading and unloading. The DMX-I-4206 features print speeds of 2 to 6 ips, resolution of 203 dpi, a print width of 4.094 in. and a print length ranging from 0.25 to 99 in. long. Media width ranges from 1 to 4.65 in. A 32-bit processor with 8MB of RAM provides first label throughput at 6 ips. The printer accepts direct thermal/thermal transfer roll-fed or fan-fold materials, die-cut or continuous labels, and perforated or continuous tag or ticket stock. It can house standard 8-in.-dia rolls, and print on a variety of materials including polyester, mylar, vinyl, polypropylene and tamper-evident label stock. A modular design on the printer enables the operator to add or change any option at any time. The printer supports all popular bar codes, and several options are available such as a standard media cutter with tray, revolving media hubs, and an internal and external rewind.
