Ecolab to present innovative hygiene solutions at the Anuga FoodTec in Cologne

In keeping with the motto “Everywhere It Matters“ Ecolab will present innovative hygiene solutions for all segments of the food and beverage industry at this year’s Anuga FoodTec, 27th-30th March 2012 in Cologne.

A special focus is on hygiene in high sensitive production areas, whereas, Ecolab’s intelligent Environmental Hygiene Programs go beyond by supporting likewise the surrounding areas with a high level hygiene standard.

Airspexx, the new product introduction for Air Treatment, is to be highlighted as an innovative anti-microbial treatment which eliminates airborne mould and bacteria before they can reach and harm food. Applied in production, packaging and storage environments Airspexx continuously protects food products against microbial contamination.

The hygiene concept RAC (Renewable Antimicrobial Coating) is a new treatment program which reduces the risk of contamination through control of environmental surface hygiene. RAC is effective against pathogenic bacteria and inhibits mould growth. RAC is designed to remain anti-microbially active on surfaces for several weeks therefore providing on-going protection.

The trade fair launch will be Exelerate® ZTF, Ecolab’s newly developed high performance cleaning program for the removal of tenacious polymerized soils on plant surfaces and equipment, e.g. fryers, ovens and mixers, caused by low trans fat oils and shortenings.

Under the new Nalco brand innovative Water Treatment technologies are going to be presented, such as cooling care, boiler care, thermal treatment (sterilizers, autoclaves in the packaged food area) as well as pasteurizer treatment.

Innovation and special features are to be discovered in the area of automatically controlled Personal Hygiene systems – see also the Robotik Pack Line in hall 8. Furthermore, there will be provided intelligent all-in-one equipment solutions, as well as hand hygiene products, which are geared to the specific requirements of the food and beverage sector, e.g. the Airless hand hygiene range.

On top of that, Ecolab’s stationary and mobile foam units of the high performing surface hygiene technology ChameleonPlus using adequate foaming compounds are to be live demonstrated in the “foam booth” and may give a comprehensive impression of their diverse and flexible application possibilities.
