The packaging software provider eProductivity Software (EPS) has introduced CommandCore 2026.2, a platform update for packaging manufacturers to retain operational knowledge as experienced estimators, planners, and operators retire.
The update includes: ERP Foundation, manufacturing execution system (MES), Control Systems, and Smart Scheduling pillars of the CommandCore platform.
Craig Tait, chief product officer at EPS, says: “Packaging manufacturers are facing a real knowledge-transfer challenge. CommandCore 2026.2 helps plants capture the expertise of their best people and make it repeatable across the business, from estimating and planning to production control and customer commitments.”
Collective efforts
Radius Estimating has provided pre-defined route templates, enabling proven routing logic to be configured once and applied consistently across every estimate. A senior estimator programs the system with the plant’s “best-practice knowledge,” including which work centers are used, in what sequence, and for which product types.
Paxis ERP, the EPS solution for label and tag converters within the CommandCore platform, extends AI-powered dynamic translation across its workflows in 2026.2.
With CommandCore 2026.2, the corrugated MES is moving toward the same modern, browser-based experience used on the CommandCore platform. MES Hub offers corrugator planners, supervisors, and plant managers web-based access to orders, lineups, trim analysis, and production KPIs from any device, the same design language, personalization options, and user experience framework familiar to users.
Trim Advisor Web was established on that foundation, providing AI-powered trim intelligence to the corrugator planner. It studies the plant’s production history to suggest the roll widths and material combinations most likely to yield the best outcome, with confidence ratings and cost transparency built in.
AC4D Packing Station Advanced has integrated with robotic palletizer systems, serving as the key software layer that connects robotic hardware to production control. The system assesses quality control results and upstream quarantine status, applies configurable routing rules, and directs the robot on pallet assignment automatically.
Transactions can be generated in real time. Additionally, pallet completion triggers label printing without operator intervention.
PrintFlow 4D has launched Order Promising, supporting customer-facing teams to create a system-backed delivery commitment in seconds by simulating a prospective order against the live schedule. PrintFlow 4D also gains task and print-change grouping, sustaining compatible production runs together through optimization.
CommandCore 2026.2 has enhanced AI capabilities within Radius ERP. Its Estimate Win Predictor scores the conversion probability of incoming estimates, allowing sales teams to focus on the highest-value opportunities. Metrics ERP software has added more functions. Companies can manage tasks directly inside the ERP system.
Additionally, the platform’s Customer Churn Predictor flags accounts showing early signs of attrition, providing account managers the chance to intervene before revenue is lost. Meanwhile, its Pack AI feature embeds a conversational assistant into Radius screens, delivering answers at the point of decision without leaving the workflow.
