Fresenius Kabi Germany will be offering from November 2014, all products for enteral nutrition therapy in a new packaging design. A simplified color coding facilitates the distinction of conditions for adults, children's products and specialty foods.
In addition, important product information such as the energy, the fiber content and the macronutrient content will be recognizable at a glance. By enlarging the font and the product logos better readability was achieved. The new design should help to quickly and easily find the right product selection.
Better readability, simplified color coding
The new design provides more space for all the important information. The product name in the new design is more readable and positioned so that both in the stationary and in the hanging positioning the bag immediately catches the eye. The new color code indicates whether it is a standard or special food. Standard formulas for adults are blue, yellow for children. All other colors indicate special foods. In addition, the standard products have color gradations - depending on the energy density.
Key features at a glance
The energy, protein, carbohydrate and fat content is centrally summarized in a "nutrient-circle". The energy density in kcal / ml is also shown on the packaging. Protein-rich products are covered by a dark blue shading in the product logo. The dietary fiber content is placed in a circle next to the product logo. In fiber-free products the circle is empty. For special diets, instead of fiber content, other product characteristics, such as the content of glutamine, polyunsaturated fatty acids or peptides are shown.
