Fresenius Kabi Germany Simplifies Product Selection: Fresubin® Drinking Food In A New Design
With a new design for sip feeds sets, Fresenius Kabi Germany continues the packaging conversion which began with tube feedings. A quick and easy product selection is the goal. The composition of the product remains unchanged.
With a new design for sip feeds sets, Fresenius Kabi Germany continues the packaging conversion which began with tube feedings. A quick and easy product selection is the goal. The composition of the product remains unchanged.
Product name and information will be easier to read in the future. The most important product properties such as the energy density, the fiber content and the macronutrient content can be recognized at a glance. Even the color coding has been simplified. Standard formulas for adults (blue), children (yellow) and special diets (other colors) are now even easier to distinguish.
All information at a glance
The new design provides more space for all the important information. The energy, protein, carbohydrate and fat content of the product are summarized and shown in the "nutrient circle". Protein-rich products are specially marked.
Also clearly recognizable is the energy density and other important product characteristics, such as the dietary fiber content of standard foods or, for example, the content of peptides or poly-unsaturated fatty acids for special diets.
Changeover to summer 2016
Since October 2015 Fresubin® started changed the packaging starting from the 2 kcal DRINK, Fresubin® 2 kcal Fibre DRINK, Frebini® Energy Drink, Frebini® Energy fiber DRINK and sup-Portan® DRINK which were delivered in the new packaging. The conversion of the further direct sip feeds and thus of the entire portfolio of drinking water and enteral nutrition range is planned by Q3 of 2016.
