Germantown packaging company acquired

Arbor Investments, a Chicago-based investment group, has acquired Great Lakes Packaging Corp. of Germantown, a producer of corrugated packaging and display products.
Arbor Investments, a Chicago-based investment group, has acquired Great Lakes Packaging Corp. of Germantown, a producer of corrugated packaging and display products.
Terms of the sale were not disclosed. Founded in 1999, Arbor is a private equity group that specializes in the food, beverage, distribution and packaging sectors. It's Arbor's second Wisconsin acquisition in packaging after it previously acquired Midland Packaging & Display; a 65 year-old company based in Franksville.
"Becoming a part of this packaging platform will add tremendous value," said Jim Nelson, president of Great Lakes Packaging. "We're excited to begin working with Midland Packaging & Display, which has a reputation of delivering great value."
