Gordon & MacPhail, a global malt whiskey producer, has enhanced packaging of its malt whiskeys by launching a proprietary glass bottle designed and produced by O-I in Alloa, Clackmannanshire.
The new design includes G&M initials embossed around the shoulder and the year of the malt whiskey specialist's establishment (1895) embossed at the bottle's base.
O-I is producing the container in both 70cl and 75cl sizes. These bottles will be used in place of standard bottles across much of Gordon & MacPhail's range.
Gordon & MacPhail whiskey Supply director Ewen Mackintosh said as the company bottles some of the world's finest and rarest Single Malt Scotch Whiskey from distilleries throughout Scotland, the proprietary bottle will help better communicate its brand values and premium positioning to the market.
The Gordon & MacPhail malt whiskey ranges include Generations, Benromach, Connoisseurs Choice, Rare Vintage, Distillery Labels, Speymalt, Cask Strength, Private Collection, The MacPhail's Collection, Rare Old, Secret Stills and Regional Malts, among others.
