PackExpo 2025: Herma showcases high-tech labeling solutions for US market
Herma will present its high-performance labeling solutions at PackExpo 2025, Las Vegas, US, September 29–October 1. At the event, the company will demonstrate its packaging labeling solutions for improved production and regulatory compliance.
The 211R HC robotic labeling cell works with small batch sizes and products with complex shapes. According to the company, it features the market’s smallest fully integrated servo gripper. It aims to reduce downtime while maintaining consistently high output levels.
The robotic labeling cell can be used for pharmaceutical applications. The module is designed to enhance accuracy by decreasing operator-related errors and eliminating the need for time-consuming manual reworks.
“The Herma 211R HC’s novel drawer system ensures safe, reliable product feeding and removal, all within a closed setup that prioritizes process repeatability. Capable of labeling up to 20 products per minute, the 211R HC is 25% faster than comparable semi-automatic machines, offering speed and versatility for small batch sizes and complex product shapes,” says the company.
Labeling innovations
At the trade show, the company will also present the Herma 362E, a high-speed, two-sided labeler for wrap-around applications, which accommodates multiple product shapes, including rectangular, cylindrical, and oval formats.
“Its horizontal stand allows the roll-on belt to shift smoothly from home to working position, simplifying setup and changeovers. With dual high-performance applicators, the 362E can label up to 200 products per minute with consistent accuracy,” adds Herma.
Herma 362E features handwheels with digital position indicators, a PLC touchscreen for intuitive operation, label presence detection, and a product reject station to ensure quality. The machine’s compact, stable design supports optional modular add-ons, such as transfer plates, wrap-around belts, and hot foil or thermal-transfer printers.
Herma will also showcase the 252M, featuring a medium-batch labeling system for autoinjectors. The 252M integrates a Video Jet Thermal Transfer printer, a vision system for checking variable data, bad label reject, orientation station, labeling, and product position check and reject.
The Herma 500MB is a precision applicator tailored for industries requiring exacting label placement, including cosmetics and electronics. The applicator can be used for applying decorative labels and functional elements, including RFID tags and membranes. It also provides optional capabilities, including data printing and incorporation into higher-level machine control systems.
Its compactness promotes “seamless integration into existing production lines, making the module an option for original equipment manufacturers seeking reliable, space-saving solutions.”
The Herma 500MB offers an advanced control system and an integrated touchscreen for intuitive parameter adjustments.
