PressGold™ 710VHP adhesive features converting characteristics normally attributed to acrylic emulsion additives. But, as a hot-melt adhesive, it provides quick tack and aggressive adhesion to substrates like HDPE and corrugated board. Other substrates that PressGold 710VHP adheres to include PS, polyester and uncoated labeling papers for vitamin bottles, personal care, food packaging and other products. The adhesive makes the converting process smooth, so that matrix breaks and adhesive legging are virtually eliminated and die-cutting speeds—up to 750 ft/min—and uptime increase, the co. says. It features a wide application temperature range and can be converted wider than conventional hot-melt adhesives, the co. reports.
