The low-cost machine, which replaced an old coder that was no longer operating efficiently and causing too much downtime, has increased production time by 15 per cent and, with its automated system of changing the code and print quality, reduced changeovers from 15 to two minutes, producing perfect print quality every time.
Installed on an automated bagging machine, the 53LTi currently operates at speeds of up to 75 bags per minute to print production codes and best before dates on to laminated printed film, for the packaging of mini two-finger wafer bars for European export.
