Kliklok International Wins Order with Family Run Cotteswold Dairy Ltd
Kliklok International, one of the world’s leading packaging machinery providers, has announced a new contract with Gloucestershire-based Cotteswold Dairy to supply and install two QSSF600 shrink-wrapping machines at the company’s Tewkesbury site.

Simon Galpin, Maintenance Manager for Cotteswold Dairy, approached the Bristol-based company following the installation of a new filling equipment line. The new line required a higher speed packaging solution to run poly bottles of liquid milk, including 189ml, 500ml, 1 litre and 2 litre variations.
As part of the new installation, the Kliklok team was also tasked with building a special lane diversion system, enabling Cotteswold’s new packaging line to wrap up to two bottle pack sizes at any one time, and four interchangeable sizes in total.
Following the successful installation of the QSSF600 shrink-wrapper, Cotteswold Dairy can now pack up to 150 bottles a minute, whilst the machine’s advanced touch screen operating system ensures ease of use for the company’s engineering staff.
Graham Holbrook, Area Sales Manager at Kliklok International Ltd said: “Both machines were installed just before Christmas, which is obviously an extremely important time of the year for Cotteswold Dairy.
“With a reputation for pioneering engineering spanning over 50 years, we have experience of supplying down-stream packaging equipment to the Dairy sector, so I’m pleased that we were able to provide Cotteswold with tailor made machinery capable of delivering a high speed packaging solution and that Kliklok was the first supplier Simon thought to contact for this project.”
Having previously been on a reference visit with Kliklok to another dairy site where this model of shrink-wrapper was in operation, Simon was well aware of the high quality specification of Kliklok’s shrink wrapping technology.

We began looking at installing a shrink-wrapper around three years ago and had considered a variety of different companies, but in my opinion, Kliklok was the only choice to provide the “Rolls Royce” build for this type of shrink-wrapper.”
“The QSSF600 has provided us with more consistency than previously available and we’re already in talks with Kliklok regarding the installation of another shrink-wrapper at our factory,” he added.
