France-based gourmet dairy La Fermière has selected Ø75-150g CombiRound pot provided by Promens Food & Beverage Packaging for its new product ‘My smoothie yogurt.’
La Fermière stated that CombiRound is natural choice of packaging for La Fermière as it supports the company's strategy for environmentally-friendly and sustainable packaging.
The CombiRound combines the properties of cardboard and plastic, which can be separated making the pot ideal for recycling.
Promens European sales manager Kati Fahrenholtz said that the pot minimizes the usage of raw material from fossil elements.
"Compared to existing solutions on the market there is a plastic reduction of up to 50%. A new in depth report from an independent consultancy supports our statement "environmentally friendly," Fahrenholtz added.
CombiRound pots are also available in standard sizes of Ø75 and Ø95 in various heights and can be made with transparent windows, based on customer requirement. The carton outer layer offers design opportunities, a large printing area, and excellent printing quality.
