CellarVino's Italian wine brand, Versare, has been redesigned with new labels and outer casing. The Italian range, bottled in Bergamo near Milan, is produced in the rich fertile soils of the Veneto region. Consumer trends and recent customer surveys have resulted in the addition of a Sauvignon Blanc and a Shiraz to the range.
The new look range is now available in nine varieties including, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Bianco, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio Rosé, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz and Rosso.
The new label presentation gives emphasis on the region and highlights traditions within the Versare story. The contemporary front label includes embossing, recycled pulp paper and gold foiling with the brand name and wine grape are colour coded for extra shelf presence. The new stelvin screw cap has also been redeveloped to give it a sleeker brand image with the use branding.
Versare is distributed by CellarVino, one of the largest drinks suppliers in the UK dedicated to the independent drinks industry. According to Director of Sales, Ishwinder Binning, sales are expected to capitalise on the growing appeal of Italian wine.
''Versare is a quality, competitively priced wine and with the growing popularity of Italian wines we expect Versare consumer sales to increase. The variety in the range enables the product to be accessible to various segments and with strong brand equity; we hope Versare will continue to capture the attention and hearts of the consumer."
Sud Patel, Manager at wholesalers Turner and Wrights, added: "Versare has offered our customers excellent value for money with a high quality wine at affordable prices. We are delighted with the fresh and contemporary brand and feel sales will further increase with the improvements"
