This line of adhesive-laminated roll stock is specifically designed to handle the requirements of packaged coffee. The adhesive lamination system enables more control of manufacturing than does extrusion lamination. The stock is produced with better gauge consistency, and the process eliminates downtime associated with uneven rolls, the co. reports. Also, the precision associated with adhesive lamination, the co. says, enables coffee roasters to specify a thin layer of aluminum-down to 6 microns or approximately 25 gauge-for barrier.
