Langetwins Collection of Family Wines is proud to announce a makeover of its Caricature Wine brand. This month, Caricature's 2014 Old Vine Zinfandel and 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon will trade in their signature white labels for a sleek black and red combination.

This month, Caricature's 2014 Old Vine Zinfandel and 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon will trade in their signature white labels for a sleek black and red combination. "When we started crafting Caricature, we made a rich and distinctive statement about some of our favorite varietals," said President Marissa Lange. "We wanted a new label to match the work that was going into the bottle, and what we created is even bolder than I was expecting!"

The 2014 Old Vine Zinfandel will be the first to receive the new label, with distribution beginning in mid-May. The vintage made for a vibrant wine bursting with juicy fruit flavors and a hint of spice, with dark raspberry and black tea tones carrying through from the aroma to the first sip. The balance of fruit and spice make this Zinfandel distinctive and delightful. The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon will debut in late May. Rich aromas of black cherry and vanilla fill the glass, and inviting flavors of dark fruit with hints of licorice and chocolate make the wine charmingly appealing. A bit of French and American oak aging adds an additional layer to this fresh and approachable Cabernet Sauvignon.

"I have worked on the brand for the better part of a decade, and these vintages are some of the best I've had for creating Caricature's robust, fruit forward flavors," said winemaker Karen Birmingham. "Between the wine and the label, this release will be a highlight for us for years to come." New labels for Caricature 2016 Chardonnay and 2015 Red Blend will be released in late 2017.
