The new joint venture “Alliance Pack”, established with a British and a French partner, puts the German packaging specialist Maria Soell GmbH in a position to offer special packaging solutions to the dairy industry.
In a joint venture with the British Hovat and the French Lysigroup companies, Maria Soell founded “Alliance Pack GmbH” in late August 2014 at its plant in Nidda, Hesse. The management is held by the general managers of all three companies. The new company is to manufacture and distribute flexible packagings as well as to provide the joint purchase of raw materials for key accounts of the dairy industry. A number of these key accounts have been customers of the corporate companies for some time.
Stefan Steinmeier, general manager of Maria Soell GmbH and co-manager of the new Alliance Pack company, is convinced that the foundation of Alliance Pack marks an important milestone in view of safeguarding the future of the medium-sized companies involved: “All of us will considerably improve our competitive positions thanks to focused offers.”
