Inspired by the universe of fashion, Valentino has chosen a refined and delicate design for his latest fragrance, decorated with three elegant flowers, which revisits the ideas of Valentino couture. The pistils are made of zamac and the petals of aluminum, elements which have allowed MBF Plastiques to demonstrate its skills and expertise. At Valentino's request the industrialist took up the challenge and designed an invisible collar, made of supple and robust polyester resin, for the 50 and 80 millimetre bottles. The collar is hidden by the corsage of embossed flowers which is firmly fixed to it by a UV gluing process, which also makes it very difficult to break off when in use. The combined elements needed to fit perfectly with the spray cap mechanism, without interfering with the attachment of the black sphere and the atomizer head. The other main problem facing MBF Plastiques was to convert the bottle design into an industrial production process. A number of specific automation procedures were worked out to cope with high production requirements and guarantee the capabilities of perfect repeatability for this delicate operation. This new creation has allowed MBF Plastiques to consolidate its position as an important partner to the luxury goods industry and demonstrate, yet again, its capacity for innovation.
