Safeline releases its Powerphase Plus metal detector. Machine operates at frequencies far higher than those typically used in the food processing industry, company says. Detector operates in excess of 800 kHz, enabling the machine to increase sensitivity, particularly to nonferrous and stainless-steel contamination. Other features include the Automated Product Grouping, which allows users to combine multiple items on a single setting; and Faraday Screen, which is designed to be placed between the detector coil system and the product being inspected to eliminate unwanted product signals.
