Fortress Technology introduces its Phantom Metal Detection systems for processing and packaging operators. Machines have digital signal processing for detection of ferrous and nonferrous metal including stainless steel in contaminated packages and products. Systems are available in custom-sized rectangular, pipeline, and gravity-feed apertures. Each has automatic set-up, operation, self-test and diagnostics, multiple-product changeovers, compensation for “product affect,” and modular electronics.
