MWV Introduces New Fragrance Pumps
MWV recently received a favorable ruling by a U.S. District Court reinforcing the company’s U.S. patents on the NoC dip tube, and the company will feature some of the latest examples of this elegant packaging solution at the show.
18 May 2012 --- MeadWestvaco Corporation, a global leader in packaging and packaging solutions, announced an extension of its popular Melodie line of fragrance pumps with the launch of Melodie Delicate and Melodie Forever. These two new solutions build on MWV’s current Melodie portfolio to provide the most advanced dispensing technology options available for the high-end luxury fragrance market.
The new Melodie pumps, along with MWV’s complete line of solutions for the Beauty and Personal Care industry, will be on display at LuxePack New York on May 16-17 at booth number F14. These extensions of the Melodie pump product line highlight MWV’s continued success and growth in the fragrance packaging market.
Originally launched in 2005, Melodie fragrance pumps are known for a discreet, low-profile design that offers smooth actuation and an engine that disappears into the neck of the fragrance bottle. The new pumps also offer these discreet aesthetics along with pre-compression spray technology for which Melodie pumps are known. Melodie Delicate enhances the luxury experience by distributing an even, delicate spray pattern with gentle actuation and a whisper sound. Melodie Forever elevates the luxury experience even further by providing a long, sustained, uniform spray of fine particles for a weightless, subtle feel.
