Lucozade Sport is refreshing its range for impulse retailers, re-launching Lucozade Sport Tropical as Lucozade Sport Caribbean Burst. The re-launch has been inspired by the popularity of the exotic drinks segment, which was the fastest growing in UK Soft Drinks in 2011 with 22.3% growth.
The makers of Lucozade are committed to growing the Sports Drinks category and, by re-launching its successful and popular exotic variant, it is predicted to drive incremental sales. Lucozade Sport Caribbean Burst complements the Lucozade Exotic portfolio and promises to build on the success of the recently launched Lucozade Energy Caribbean Crush PMP which has become the third best performing Lucozade flavour in terms of rate of sales.
Lucozade Sport Caribbean Burst will debut on shelf with bright red packaging and a distinctive bottle design to grab consumer attention and create maximum stand out.
Lucozade Sport Caribbean Burst will be available through the wholesale and impulse channel in 4x500ml multipacks and 500ml singles PMP 99p from 18 September.
