New Jar Design Takes World of Spice to Next Level

29/08/08 RPC Containers Blackburn has manufactured a custom-moulded catering jar that provides World of Spice with enhanced on-shelf presence and convenience for its relaunched range of herbs and spices.
World of Spice has introduced new seasonings and colours, and wanted to complement this with a fresh packaging format that would combine the exceptional functionality required in catering environments with an aesthetic appeal that stands out in cash & carry outlets. Having previously used a standard container from RPC Blackburn, World of Spice recognised that the company would be the ideal partner to produce a bespoke design.

The jar is used to package over 100 herbs and spices in the company’s range. Four coloured labels differentiate the type of product – green for herbs, black for peppers, red for chillies, brown for spices – which are then overprinted with the specific product details. Colour matching caps – designed for fast opening – are produced at RPC Halstead.
