New tray and bag packaging for the Country Choice savoury goods range promises caterers a 50% cost saving over the existing box packaging, and at the same time increases product visibility, making it an even more attractive proposition for caterers and customers alike.
While the new, easy to assemble tray and bag concept uses less material than the traditional packaging, it still maintains the product quality and offers excellent heat retention, keeping the range in tip top condition in the hot display cabinet for up to four hours.
Three pack sizes cover all products, allowing for multi packaging as required. Each pack consists of a recyclable heat resistant cardboard tray and a perforated film bag that allows the product to breathe. The bags can be sealed with a food label or a bag sealer, and tray colour coding helps to differentiate between the categories.
The Long Savoury tray and bag holds all 6” and 8” sausage rolls as well as the best-selling Potato Dog and Big Bite sausage roll. The Square Savoury tray and bag is suitable for the entire range of savoury bakes and pies, leaving the Large Savoury tray and bag for all pasties and turnovers.
New style bags and boxes, to be ordered separately, are each packed 1000 units to a case and will replace all existing Country Choice savoury box packaging.
