If you are a lover of St Helen’s Farm award-winning mild or mature cheeses, then keep an eye out over the coming weeks – because they are making a change to the packaging.
St Helen’s Farm will be moving to a more traditional flexible film style of wrap that will replace the rigid plastic version that they have used for many years. This will reduce the amount of packaging material by nearly 10%, which will help them to be more efficient as well as being more environmentally friendly.
The dimensions of the cheese will be slightly wider and slimmer than the current pack but will still weigh 240g and the price remains the same. Please be assured that the new packs will carry the same design that appears on the current style of packaging, and most importantly, of course, the cheese remains the same, so whether it is mild or mature you can continue to enjoy the taste of your favourite cheese.
In order to help you re-seal the new packs, St Helen’s Farm have some handy St Helen’s Farm clips to give away.
You should begin to notice the new packs gradually being phased into stores of Waitrose, Tesco, Morrisons, Co-op and Ocado online with effect from 18th December.
