New Packaging with Braille Label for "Double Gold"
Their hand-smithed ‘Double Gold’ label made of 24 carat gold leaves received a lot of attention at the Dubai International Wine and Beverage Fair last year.
07/02/08 Vitron, a family owned company from Ilok, Croatia, has introduced the new packaging of its best known product, ‘Double Gold’ champagne. The new feature of the label is Braille alphabet. The idea came from the company owner herself, Mirjana Zelenika, who is involved in training guide dogs and is interested in the problems of visually impaired and blind people. Their family farm has full disabled access, and their offer includes horse riding for the disabled.
All this is a part of their project 'S nama je bolje'. (‘It’s better with us’). This project aims to promote, inform people and raise awareness of the visually impaired and blind people’s problems as potential buyers of wine and other grape products', says Mirjana Zelenika. Their new product 'Bomb', expected to be launched soon, will be the smallest sparkling wine in the world, and the label will also be in Braille. Their hand-smithed ‘Double Gold’ label made of 24 carat gold leaves received a lot of attention at the Dubai International Wine and Beverage Fair last year. This year they have received a special invitation to take part in the Fair on February 25th and 26th. The company has recently introduced its products in Austria.
