Oxygen scavenger

Aegis™ OX polymerized nanocomposite, oxygen-scavenging barrier nylon resin from Honeywell (Morristown, NJ) is specially formulated for high oxygen and carbon dioxide barrier performance, even in high humidity. It’s available for co-injection molded PET bottle applications, including beer bottles and orange juice containers. 

Aegis™ OX polymerized nanocomposite, oxygen-scavenging barrier nylon resin from Honeywell (Morristown, NJ) is specially formulated for high oxygen and carbon dioxide barrier performance, even in high humidity. It’s available for co-injection molded PET bottle applications, including beer bottles and orange juice containers. The improved barrier and scavenging properties can give brewers a beer bottle with up to a 6-month shelf life, says Honeywell. Resin also provides clarity, good interlayer adhesion with PET, and easy processability in PET co-injection and stretch blow-molding applications.
