RPC Containers Blackburn is producing a stylish PET jar for the relaunched range of instant gravy granules from Campbells` famous Oxo brand. Campbells has redeveloped its range of gravies to meet consumer interest in `proper gravy instantly.` The relaunch consists of three existing flavours - Chicken, Beef and Vegetable - plus two new varieties created to reflect the growing trend towards different tastes, Beef with Red Wine and Onion with Sage and Thyme. The relaunch required a corresponding redesign in packaging, to highlight the changes and emphasise the brand`s positioning as the best tasting gravy available. Campbells decided to use PET, which is valued by consumers for its modern aesthetics and its practical benefits of lightweight and shatterproof. RPC Blackburn was chosen for its ability to work within tight manufacturing guidelines and swift deadlines, whilst delivering a high quality product synonymous with the Oxo brand. The PET jar, available in 170g and 300g sizes, features an attractive curved shape which stands out on-shelf and is easy for consumers to handle. The jars are decorated with full body shrink sleeves from Fuji, with different colours for each flavour, which are applied on-line at RPC Blackburn. Colour-matching caps are supplied by Mass Mould.
