Planglow unveils new compostable containers for food packaging
UK-based packaging supplier Planglow has unveiled a new compostable Natural Pot, which is suitable for food products such as ice cream or frozen yogurt as well as porridge, pasta and soup.
UK-based packaging supplier Planglow has unveiled a new compostable Natural Pot, which is suitable for food products such as ice cream or frozen yogurt as well as porridge, pasta and soup.
According to the company, the new 12oz. Natural Pot has rustic, brand-neutral finish and thermo-insulating properties. It has two choices of matching lids.
Planglow stated that the pot is sustainably sourced and industrially compostable and is lined with a food-safe bio coating which meets the European compostability standard EN13432.
The container can be paired with the company's transparent 12oz Pot Lid or semi opaque 12oz Bio Lid for eco-containers-to-go. Both lid options and the pots are available in boxes of 1000.
Planglow supplies a wide range of biodegradable packaging and complementary products including sandwich, salad, wrap and baguette packaging, menus, bags and bio cups.
