Confectionery manufacturer Swizzels has unveiled a brand new look for its iconic Rainbow Drops. First launched in the late 1940s, the company said Rainbow drops have been a consumer favourite ever since.
Initially they were sold loose by the scoop before the first bagging machine was introduced in 1952. The new design features vibrant colours with a clearly visible calorie flash highlighting its lower calorie treat credentials.
Emma Herring, NPD brand manager at Swizzels said: “The Rainbow Drops range is one of our traditional favourites that consumers know and love. The new packs look great on shelf and are ideal for shoppers looking for a lower calorie treat. The range of pack sizes mean Rainbow Drops are perfect for a little snack or to share with family and friends.”
Rainbow Drops are available in 10g bags – part of Swizzels hugely popular ‘flashback to 10p’ range – 32g and 80g bags as well as multipacks.
