The Fresh-Lock zippers are available for both bottom-fill and top-fill pouch applications, and can be used in stand-up pouch or three-side-seal pouch designs. The zippers are designed for use in wet, moist or dry applications and can be modified to meet the specific requirement of the product and package design. New equipment is not required because the zipper is easily incorporated into existing form-fill-seal equipment currently being used for zipper applications. The reclosable retort zippers allow users to store the food in its original container. They are used for a wide variety of products, including meat, poultry, tuna, seafood, stews, soups, prepared rice, gravy, sauces, prepared meals, fruits, vegetables and pet foods. Fresh-Lock® retort zippers are available in three styles: general use retort zippers, zippers for a 3-side-seal, bottom-fill pouch, and zippers for a stand-up, top-fill pouch.
