The Allen-Bradley 42CS photoelectric sensor family released by Rockwell Automation have been specifically designed to cope with high-pressure and harsh chemical cleaning conditions.
These IP69K-rated photoelectric sensors offer a wide range of sensing modes in a smooth or threaded 316L sturdy, stainless steel housing with hardened PMMA lenses. To minimize the accumulation of undesired particles on the sensor and allow for an easy cleanup, these smooth-barrel photoelectric sensors are free of threads and seams, making them ideal for the food and beverage industry.
There is also an innovative teach function incorporated into the sensor that enables the user to easily optimise the sensitivity by placing a ferromagnetic metal object in the teach notch. In addition to the standard and precision teach modes, a lock-out feature prevents unauthorised users from changing the settings.
