“It was time for a new look. We went with hazelnuts on the label to better convey what the product is,” said Rogue Creative Director Hagen Moore about the 5-time Great American Beer Festival winning beer. “The nut is cracked to reveal the nectar inside.”
Hazelnut Brown Nectar was originally brewed by Chris Studach, Rogue Brewmaster John Maier’s friend and fellow homebrewer, for the 1993 American Homebrewers Association dinner. Each can, bottle and package is dedicated to Chris Studach – whose image formally graced the label – and the homebrewer in each of they.
Hazelnut Brown’s new look is available in 22 ounce bottles, 12 ounce bottles and 12 ounce cans starting 1 January 2018. Locate it in its new packaging and on draft near you using the Rogue Beer Finder. Find more information on the revolution at Rogue website.
