Tri-Star has launched what it believes are Europe's first hinged salad containers to incorporate a tamper-evident seal. Targeting both the retail and foodservice sectors, the Tri-pack range has been developed in partnership with a major sandwich bar chain, comes in 370, 500 and 750ml sizes and stacks easily.

Targeting both the retail and foodservice sectors, the Tri-pack range has been developed in partnership with a major sandwich bar chain, comes in 370, 500 and 750ml sizes and stacks easily. Tri-Star says research findings, coupled with customer feedback, convinced it a need existed for a tamper-evident salad container to give consumers "total peace of mind". Md Kevin Curran adds: "The tamper-evident seal also reduces costs as no additional labelling is required as a seal.
