Trilogy Glass and Packaging Inc. will become a part of the Missouri company’s WinePak division. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 2004 by Rick Miron and Greg Windisch, Trilogy employs 35 to 40 people, said Suzie Fenton, director of marketing at TricorBraun. Employees are expected to be retained by the new owners, she said.
“Having expanded capabilities — particularly the repacking operation in Northern California and an expanded financial base — are a real plus,” Windisch said in a statement.
The deal will make WinePak the largest supplier of wine packaging in North America, with $120 million in annual sales, the company said.
TricorBraun has sales approaching $1 billion and more than 40 locations in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Asia.
“Bringing Trilogy Glass and Packaging into the fold was an easy decision,” TricorBraun chief executive Keith Strope said in a statement. “We have very similar cultures.”
