SAS Automation introduces Gripper finger Sensor Kit to enhance EOAT (end-of-arm tooling) solutions.

End-of-Arm tooling users can now enhance their gripper fingers with a new Gripper Finger Sensor Kit provided by SAS Automation, Ltd. Where sensing is needed, this kit is a cost effective method to provide a signal when the finger is activated. Safety is improved when positive detection can be made during the gripping operation. Sensing is effectively accomplished by a normally closed, reliable, proximity sensor in a compact unit attached to the gripper.
