Two new Pentaprint® vinyl films offer excellent gauge control, lay-flat properties, ink adhesion and seaming ability, the co. reports. The super high impact Pentaprint M282/41 is a regular shrink film that has 56-percent shrink properties. It's designed for uniform shrinkage of full-body shrink sleeves and tamper-evident bands for cylindrical containers. It offers super high-impact resistance at sub-zero temperatures, making it suitable for a variety of food packaging applications, and it works well on high-speed label-applicating equipment. Pentaprint M148/01 has 64-percent shrink properties and is engineered for products requiring uniform shrinkage control of full body shrink sleeves for highly contoured bottles and containers. Its well-controlled shrinkage and thickness uniformity allows for high-performance label application and printing on rotogravure and flexographic printing presses.
