To bring more variety also to the post-mix market and to further develop the take-away in this segment, Huhtamaki set to design a new kind of lid to go with the post-mix drinking cups. The new Sipper Dome lid introduces a new way of drinking. It challenges the traditional flat plastic lids by combining an innovative sip-through spout with exceptionally attractive dome shape and nice colors. The spout’s hole is perforated so that it can be opened simply by pushing down the tab. The drink can be enjoyed by sipping directly through the spout, no more straws are necessary needed. Together with a single-use cup it makes a unique packaging, functional both in the food service outlets and as on the go packaging. The lid closes tightly and securely to ensure spill-proofnes, thus being safe and clean on-the-go. The lid also reduces the total loss of contents if knocked over. Sipper Dome lid is made of plastic (PS) and it is designed to fit the common paper cup diameters. The standard Sipper Dome comes in red color and 80mm and 90mm diameters. For promotions and brand building customized colors and embossed motives are possible. Sipper Dome lids are light in weight, well stackable and demand no changes in the distribution system.
