A collaborative effort between P&G and Precise resulted in a new look for the Sunny Delight closure without the time and expense of developing a totally new cap. The base had to be polyethylene, ..although this material is softer than what is typically use for sports closures. There were several firsts involved for Precise: it was the first PE base and the first multi-component closure using our proprietary spout and overcap molds.The new closures will also be used on the new Sunny Delight sports product that will be targeting an older audience, consumers in their teens through 30s.
